Frequently Asked Questions
A few of the things people ask before their first class.
- I’ve never done yoga — can I still come?
- Yes. Most of my students started with little or no experience. Sessions are paced so beginners are welcome and comfortable. Just let me know when you book and I’ll make sure things go well for you.
- What should I wear and bring?
- Comfortable clothes you can move in. A mat if you have one (I have spares). For sound bath: warm layers and an open mind — we’ll be lying still for a while.
- Do you offer online classes?
- Yes — live online classes for individuals, couples, and small groups. See the classes page for more.
- How do I book?
- The easiest way is to email or call. Share a few times that work and what you’re interested in. See the booking page for details.
- What does a sound bath feel like?
- You lie down comfortably. Singing bowls, gong, and other instruments are played continuously. Most people feel deeply relaxed; some drift to sleep. There’s nothing to do but listen.
- Do you teach corporate sessions?
- Yes — yoga, sound bath, and dance meditation, on-site or virtual. Great for offsites, wellness days, and ongoing programs. Send a note with the date and group size and I’ll put together a proposal.
- What’s the cancellation policy?
- Please give 24 hours' notice when possible so I can offer the time to someone else. For private sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, the session is charged at the full rate.
